Cylinder Step Sleeve Installation

Stepped Sleeve Installation Services are used in many different application.  From trying to save a vintage block, to replacing FRM sleeves with ductile iron.   Stepped Sleeves are generally used in blind hole applications, where there is no material at the bottom of the block for the sleeve to sit.  The sleeve will sit on the counter bore step

Includes

1.  Boring out of old sleeve ( roughly .125" in material"

2.  Counter Bore

3.  Trim top of sleeve on Milling Machine (Will need final CBN Surfacing)

4.  Finish Hone Cylinder for Piston to Wall Clearance

5.  Includes after machining wash.

1.  We can order thinner sleeves,  .125 is generally the thickest.
